    This is a rare souvenir program from the Pre-Broadway tryouts of the cult favorite GUY BOLTON, SAMMY FAIN and DAN SHAPIRO musical comedy "ANKLES AWEIGH" at the Shubert Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut. (The production would open April 18th, 1955 at the Mark Hellinger Theatre in New York City and run for 176 performances.) ..... The musical starred BETTY and JANE KEAN and featured SONNY TUFTS (who would be replaced by MARK DAWSON before the show moved on to Boston), LEW PARKER, GABRIEL DELL (who along with Lyricist DAN SHAPIRO signed the title page), MIKE KELLIN, THELMA CARPENTER and BETTY GEORGE .....
