    Make flying 10x More Fun!
Choose your kite tail right now!
A tail’s dimensions will vary according to the lift forces on your kite. The area of the cloth and the power of the wind determine that, it's not all kites need a tail.
For stunt kites, a long tail makes the kite to be more fun, dancing happily in the sky, it will catch all the eyes passing by.
For single line kite, If your kite keep spinning and crashing to the ground,or taking a nose dive, you needed a tail to stabilize it's flight.
On the practical side, a long tail takes longer to unfurl and roll up again than shorter tails. And long tails can be like a ribbon or tubular, thus offering difference drag and weight characteristics.
Smaller kite can hardly carry such a long tail, but it tend to be light for a huge kite. Of course multiple shorter tails can provide similar drag to one long tail but get tangled up more easily.
So we recommend that our tails be used for kites with a expanded width of 5~10 ft.
The wind speed is another important point for flying. You can find the detail in the left table.
For the weight and length of our tail, we recommend it be used for kites with a wind speed of 8~20 mph.
